Our commitment is emphasized by the highest levels of management and is communicated to all employees. By cultivating relationships with diverse suppliers, we hope to promote growth of these businesses as well as the long-term growth of DSSI.

DSSI recognizes minority and women-owned enterprises as those that are at least 51 percent owned and operated by minorities or women and certified as such by the following councils:

• The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
• The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
