Commodity Purchasing Team
These professionals actively support customers who engage us for the combination of our Consortium Sourcing and Purchase to Pay Transactional Processing services. They help ensure that the right items get to the right place at the right time by:
- Deploying appropriate commodity strategies;
- Managing catalog and item content to ensure that items contain accurate and complete descriptions;
- Applying industry leading benchmarks and reporting capabilities to actively manage in-process orders;
- Maintaining effective and positive supplier relationships;
- Escalating supplier performance issues to the appropriate commodity sourcing managers;
- Reviewing internal performance metrics, identifying corrective actions and working with buyers to ensure internal timing expectations are met; and,
- Identifying opportunities for improved pricing and terms.
